3. Matt Hennessy | Temple | Center | 82nd overall

Lloyd Cushenberry from LSU went to the Chicago Bears in the second round, 50th overall. Last week, I drafted Tyler Biadasz from Wisconsin. Again, he was available this time around in the third round.

This time, I selected Matt Hennessy from Temple. He stands at six-foot-four, 302 pounds. He played center for four seasons at Temple. The 2019 season was a banner year for the center. He was a Rimington Trophy finalist. He earned First-Team All-AAC honors.

He also jumped on the Second-team USA Today All-American train, as well as the Second team Pro Football Focus All-American. His older brother, Thomas Hennessy, plays for the New York Jets as a long snapper.

Hennessy, a New York native, grew up a major New York Giants fan. The Giants have expressed interest, but with the Dallas Cowboys losing Travis Frederick to retirement, the ‘Boys may flirt and swoop Hennessy away.
