2. Packers vs. Cowboys – Divisional Round, 2016

The 2016 Dallas Cowboys were riding a dream season that included losing your franchise quarterback, then having your fourth-round rookie take you to the number 1 seed in the NFC.

The Cowboys faced the packers earlier in 2016 and beat them 30-16 in Green Bay but no one was excited to see Aaron Rodgers and co. once again in the playoffs.

The Packers came out on fire and jumped all over the Cowboys defense and held a lead of 21-3 halfway through the second quarter. The Cowboys battled back in the second quarter, scoring 10 unanswered to make it 21-13 at the half. Rodgers kept his game up to start the 3rd, extending the lead to 28-13. Simply put, he was too good.

After a Jeff Heath interception, the Cowboys took advantage of the turnover and scored a touchdown, making the game 28-20 with 13 minutes remaining.

After an outstanding defensive stop, Dak and the rest of the offense had a chance to tie the game up. After two huge Zeke runs, Dak found Dez Bryant in the endzone, then Dak took it himself on the two-point conversion to tie the game up. Still to this day, my favorite Prescott play.

After long field goals by both teams, the Packers got the ball with 30 seconds to go. Aaron Rodgers makes the greatest throw I have ever seen along the sidelines and the rest is history. Cowboys fall 34-31.
