9. Dual-threat attacks?

Running back Tony Pollard wanted to get in on the action. The fourth-round pick, 128th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, gathered 103 rushing yards on 13 carries last Sunday. He averaged nearly eight yards a tote and finally received his first rushing touchdown.

If the Dallas Cowboys are to spoil the night for New Orleans, I think the team has to feed both Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard. I see a lot of play-action, zone-read options, and let’s use Dak Prescott’s legs to chew up some clock.

I think Dallas must feed the ground game to win this one. Ultimately, this game will probably be defined by air attacks, which may paralyze the Cowboys’ ground attack.

10. Sean Payton will outsmart Jason Garrett?

Since taking over head coaching duties in 2006, coach Sean Payton is five games away from coaching his 200th regular season contest. He owns a 120-75 regular-season record and is 8-6 in the playoffs. He won the Super Bowl in 2009.

The Dallas Cowboys made some handsome adjustments at half-time last week. The differences produced a win for the Cowboys. Between the Cowboys and Saints, it will come down to adjustments.

Sean Payton is a wizard in the NFL. His coaching smarts may be enough to knock off the hot Cowboys, who are still young. Plus, the defense hasn’t proved that their 2018 identity is true.
