3. The best route runner in football?

Amari Cooper runs his routes like an artist. On his first receiving touchdown last Sunday against the Dolphins, he faked a slant to the inside but pivoted outside in the end zone. The guy, at six-foot-one and 205 pounds, is providing students with free education on how to run routes.

Simply put: it is a thing of beauty.

4. The last five results when Dallas visited New Orleans?

In the last five games at the Superdome, the Dallas Cowboys are 1-4.

October 4, 2015 = Cowboys 20, Saints 26
November 10, 2013 = Cowboys 17, Saints 49
December 19, 2009 = Cowboys 24, Saints 17
December 28, 2003 = Cowboys 7, Saints 13
December 24, 1999 = Cowboys 24, Saints 31

5. A preview of the NFC Championship game?

With Teddy Bridgewater taking over for Hall of Famer Drew Brees, don’t discount the powered up Saints. Brees figures to make his way back to the team eventually, which may energize the squad to hold down the fort.

Could the Sunday night contest be a preview of an NFC Championship game down the line? You bet. I think so. If that is the case, the winner of this game may tilt playoff positioning down the line.
