Lastly, the Cowboys defense has to be able to contain the Saints running backs, especially Alvin Kamara. Since he entered the league last season, New Orleans is 14-1 in games that Kamara has posted over 100 yards of total offense.

This is a remarkable stat and shows the kind of impact Kamara makes on the offense not just in the running game but overall as a whole. If Dallas wants to have a shot in this game it has to star with keeping number 41 in check all night long.

The Cowboys are playing good football and I firmly believe if they are able to do the things listed fairly well the have a decent shot at pulling off this upset win. But, if Dallas loses this game it is not the end of the world.

The Saints are an outstanding team, and if the Cowboys are able to hang in till late in the game and play a hard fought close game with this team it will show a lot about what Dallas can do.

Overall, I just do not think the Cowboys will have enough offensive firepower to keep up with the Saints. I believe the game will be very competitive heading into the fourth quarter where Brees and the Saints offense will string together a long drive that puts the game on ice.

Dallas has the potential to win this game, but in the end, I think New Orleans is just too good of a football team to beat right now.

Prediction: New Orleans 30 Dallas 20
