2. Dak Prescott’s accuracy has improved

Last season was a bad year for Dak Prescott. I talked about his sophomore slump earlier this year but it still remains to be seen if it has. Now we know he has been working hard to get better at this.

He has been putting in time with his new receivers to build a rapport with them. This along with the offense having Ezekiel Elliott back should give him more confidence. That along with not having to worry about forcing a ball to a receiver that is constantly demanding it.

If his accuracy improves this team will be hard to beat. So for the Cowboys sake lets pray that it does because all we have to fall back on right now are unproven players. Having to play either Cooper Rush or Mike White is a scary thought right now.

3. Xavier Woods makes us say Earl who…

Xavier Woods potentially has the most to show in this training camp for the Cowboys.  All offseason he has heard that the Cowboys desperately need a safety. That Earl Thomas is the answer to the Cowboys problems at the position.

Looking at Woods he has all and the physical traits you want in the free safety. He has the speed to cover the field, the size to come down and hit someone, and the ball skills to make plays.

Now is the time for him to show them what he can do. If he can do that and make this team say “Earl thank you but we are set at safety” it would be a blessing in disguise.
