MIKE MCGLINCHEY (OT) – NOTRE DAME

Mike McGlinchey is often projected as the top tackle in the draft, yet he lags behind several interior offensive line options.

It’s my belief Dallas hopes to keep La’el Collins at right tackle if possible. Collins has alluded he prefers to stay outside where he thrived over the second half of 2017.

Nonetheless, there are higher rated inside options that will be available. At least three guards are correctly graded above McGlinchey, one will surely make it to Pick 19.

VITA VEA (DT) – WASHINGTON

Disregarding Vita Vea as a likely option is as simple as knowing the Cowboys are allergic to spending their prized selection on a two-down nose tackle.

It’s simply how they grade the position. There’s a good chance Vea won’t reach 19. But even if he did, Dallas would pass with other worthy options available later.

KEEP THE FOCUS ON THESE FIVE

After spending time discounting those five rumored targets, I’d be remiss not to share the players that truly hold the Cowboys’ attention.

I’ll unveil my already decided favorite on the morning of the draft. However, these are the five targets (in alphabetical order) who made the final cut…

  • Calvin Ridley (WR – Alabama)
  • D.J. Moore (WR – Maryland)
  • James Daniels (C/G – Iowa)
  • Rashaan Evans (LB –  Alabama)
  • Will Hernandez (OG – UTEP)

If Dallas stays put at 19, one of those will likely wear The Star. While there aren’t any new revelations on the list, the player the Dallas Cowboys value most might surprise some.
