Round 5 Pick 171: Edge Dorance Armstrong Jr. Kansas

In his 2016 season at Kansas, Armstrong has 20 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. Despite a big production slip in 2017, he is worth taking a shot on in the fifth round.

Round 5 Pick 173: RB Darrel Williams LSU

With likely losing Alfred Morris to free agency, the Cowboys will need to add a running back this offseason. Williams is a 6’1 233 lb powerful back, and would complement Ezekiel Elliott and Rod Smith well in the Dallas backfield.

Round 6 Pick 193: CB Jalen Davis Utah State

Davis recorded 11 interceptions in his college career, and four were returned for touchdowns. He is a playmaker with impressive ball skills.

Round 6 Pick 208: WR Jake Wieneke South Dakota State

Wieneke is a 6’4 215 lb big receiver who posses potential to become a red zone threat at the next level.

Round 7 Pick 236: QB J.T. Barrett Ohio State

The Cowboys take a chance on the Big Tens all-time passing touchdowns leader J.T. Barrett. The quarterback is not shy to playing on the big stage, and is worth taking a shot on considering his impressive performance in college.
