Dallas Cowboys: Five bold predictions for 2017
By Tyrone Starr
BOLD PREDICTION #5
The Dallas Cowboys will play in Super Bowl LII.
Let’s face it. If the Dallas Cowboys had a top ten defense, last year, they would have played in the Super Bowl shown above.
With Jaylon Smith and Sean Lee leading the defense and a MVP year from Ezekiel Elliott, it would be hard to imagine them not playing in it this year.
Do all of the above predictions need to occur for the Dallas Cowboys to play in Super Bowl LII?
Absolutely not.
This team still has the best offensive line in football. They have one of the most dynamic receivers in all of football in Dez Bryant. They have a quarterback in Dak Prescott that will continue to improve as well.
Honestly, even if Elliott has a slightly worse season in 2017, as long as the defense is close to being a top ten unit, this is a team capable of big things.
It won’t be easy but nothing worth having ever is.
I know writing these predictions has me juiced for the upcoming season. Hopefully reading it does the same for you.
Are you ready for some football?
