Finally, we have the defensive line, a unit that almost always seems to need an upgrade. The Dallas Cowboys are expected to draft a pass rusher early however that may not be the case.

There are some talented linebackers and defensive tackles that Dallas may not want to pass on. In the first round the only two players who are projected to fall too the Cowboys on this list are Michigan defensive end, Taco Charlton and Temple edge rusher, Haason Reddick.

The Cowboys have only met with Reddick but Charlton is projected to the Cowboys in most of the mock drafts floating around. An interesting name towards the end of the first round is also outside linebacker, T.J. Watt (yes J.J. Watt’s younger brother).

He could be an incredible developmental prospect for the Cowboys as they look to solidify their linebacking corps. Watt along with Florida State’s DeMarcus Walker, Vanderbilt’s Zack Cunningham, Ohio State’s Tarrell Basham, Florida’s Caleb Brantley, and UCLA’s Takkarist McKinley.

Walker and Basham appear to be the two players who could immediately help the Cowboys pass rush available on that list. If Dallas is going to improve their pass rush, at least one of these names will be called.
