Anthony Brown, Cornerback

While the majority of the Cowboys draft buzz was focused on their first two picks, fans and media alike are especially interested in the first of the four sixth round picks- Anthony Brown.

"“He was one of the most complete cornerbacks I studied when it came to being a complete player. He covers well, he is not afraid to tackle and he does a nice job of finishing plays. He has the traits to play special teams and there is no question that he will get plenty of those opportunities in training camp.” – Bryan Broaddus"

Graded my many far higher than the sixth round the Cowboys took him in, the former Purdue player is considered to be a lock for the final roster. In an aging questionable secondary, Brown will no doubt get the opportunities in the season.

In the immediate future,he looks pegged for special teams duties, but with a four year deal totaling just shy of $2.5 million he has a remarkable upside and could ultimately be a steal.

Kavon Frazier, Safety

A trend among draftniks is to compare draftees to current NFL players. The consistent theme among Kavon Frazier’s scouting reports was the number of times he was likened to Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church. Funny how he’ll be suiting up alongside his playing style twin this season.

Frazier’s rookie deal is four years worth $2.4 million with $100,000 guaranteed. A way off of Church’s $8.8 million contract! But something to aim for as he begins his NFL career.
