Round 6: James Bradberry | Samford | Cornerback

James Bradberry is another small school prospect destined to make the jump to the NFL to test himself at the highest level. He’s a well rounded player with room to improve and an exceptionally high ceiling.

Physically he has the right tool set- he’s got long arms which he uses well to push off blockers or wrap up tackles and can get up to make plays on the ball not matter where it’s put.

The Cowboys could transition him to play at safety or develop him at his more natural cornerback position, press corner would make the most sense.

The small school prospect is more at play here though, with Bradberry looking out of depth at times at the Senior Bowl. But because he’s good if not spectacular at the position, he’s definitely worth a punt with a later pick.
