#1 – Right or Wrong? The Backup Quarterback

Matt Moore was in the neighborhood? Really?

You’d think that the Cowboys learned from their Matt Cassel, Brandon Weeden concoction. Until Dallas resolves the number two spot behind starter Tony Romo, this area is a fail by default.

Expect the Cowboys to deliver through the draft. With many talented quarterbacks spread out through the NFL Draft this year, America’s Team would be foolish to let the draft day slip by without electing a quarterback.

So far, owner and general manager Jerry Jones has stayed tune to the tone of the program by allowing recent free agents in Robert Griffin III and Johnny Manziel to roam the market without so much as a phone call.

Right or Wrong?

Wrong, for now.

Again, this is set to wrong indefinitely until the Cowboys fill this need. Good for the Cowboys for holding out for better quarterbacks. Did you get a whiff of backup quarterback Chase Daniel’s contract in the City of Brotherly Love?

Daniel, once under the Cowboys radar, received a three-year deal worth $21 million. He will play backup to Sam Bradford while earning an average salary of $7 million.

But again, Matt Moore? Really?
