Much like Howard, injury prevented Devontae Booker from working out at the combine. Booker is aiming to participate fully at Utah’s pro day at the end of March and he’s keen to show scouts they need not worry about his durability.

"“I had a lot of carries in college and probably was one of the most-used running backs in college. But I don’t think there’s any concern at all. I’m very durable. This was the only injury that I’ve ever had playing football. I’m just overcoming that and getting back healthy to show these teams what I’ve got.”"

Throughout his career, Booker has drawn comparisons to Texans running back Arian Foster – far more resilient however as the injury last November was his first. He’s a well rounded back able to contribute significantly out of the backfield as a receiver.

Booker isn’t the biggest back and is probably on the cusp size wise without much room to back more weight on. That said he’s so well balanced in all facets of the game that for a potential mid round pick the Cowboys would have an excellent prospect at their hands.
