DOWNGRADE – TOUCHDOWNS

Missing your starting quarterback and number one wide receiver would impact the scoring rate of any team.

So it’s not surprising to see the Cowboys dip here compared to 2014.

In the open five games of last season, the team had 14 touchdowns compared to 12 touchdowns in six games for 2015.

At the start of the season the Cowboys wide receiving depth was considered decent.

Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley, Devin Street and a number of undrafted free agents ready to fight for a spot too.

But the loss of Dez to injury for several weeks has truly highlighted the step up in class from WR 2 to WR 1.
