The Dallas Cowboys have looked like one of the best teams in the NFC this season, and showed that with a 40-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings, a theoretical contender in Week 11. One reason for the Cowboys’ success is the Pro Bowl-caliber players all over their roster.
We are at the point in the season where Pro Bowl voting has officially begun. Since the game itself is officially canceled, the roster will be the roster, and that’s final. We will see no more players backing out, as replacements take their spots. That helps restore some credibility to the honor of being named a Pro Bowler.
Here are the Cowboys that we think should make the Pro Bowl roster.
Predicting which Dallas Cowboys players will make the Pro Bowl in 2022

Offensive Pro Bowlers
Tony Pollard, Running Back
You will be hard-pressed to find a better running back in the NFL on a per-touch basis than Tony Pollard. His 6.4 yards per touch this season is third in the NFL, and despite being 26th in the league in carries, he ranks 12th in rushing yards.

This is the first time in his career that Pollard has been a featured back for multiple games. He has carried the Cowboys’ offense over the past three games, including 100+ yards and one touchdown in each. The Cowboys seem to hit their stride offensively the more Pollard is involved. Look for the 25-year-old to continue leading the backfield to the Pro Bowl.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
Coming into the season, CeeDee Lamb had to step into the No. 1 receiving role in Dallas. Despite having to play five games with Cooper Rush at quarterback, Lamb has been great this season. Through 10 games, he has 58 receptions for 751 yards and five touchdowns. The 23-year-old is on pace for career highs in all three of those categories.

Dallas will continue to rely on Lamb as the main target in the passing game. So far this season, he is second in the NFL in target share at 32.1%. If he can continue at the pace he is going, there is no doubt he should be a part of the Pro Bowl team.
Zack Martin, Right Guard
The three certainties in life are death, taxes, and Zack Martin making the Pro Bowl. Martin has played at least 11 games in seven of his eight seasons, and he has made the Pro Bowl every one of those years. While his greatness might go unnoticed, the 32-year-old has been the one sure thing on the Dallas offensive line.

According to Pro Football Focus, Martin played 643 offensive snaps this season entering Week 12, and in that time did not allow a sack or commit a penalty. There is not a right guard in the sport better than the former first-round pick. His play should once again be granted a Pro Bowl berth.
Honorable Mentions: Dak Prescott, Terence Steele

Dallas Cowboys Defensive Pro Bowlers
Demarcus Lawrence, Defensive End
Where would the Cowboys’ defense be without the play of DeMarcus Lawrence? While he is not the most talked-about defender, he is still very important. Lawrence has 44 total tackles, six sacks, and eight tackles for loss this season, but his play in the run game has made the biggest impact on the defense.

The biggest weakness for the Dallas defense has been their inability to stop the run, so the continued elite play of Lawrence in that area is crucial. While his counting stats, like sacks and tackles for loss, are not amongst the league’s best, if the genuine best edge defenders are elected to the Pro Bowl, “Tank” should be one of them.
Micah Parsons, Linebacker
Parsons and the Pro Bowl is a match made in Lock Heaven. He is the best defensive player in the NFL and is near the top of the sacks leaderboard as a non-DE. No player in the league can influence a game from multiple spots like Parsons. The 23-year-old has taken his game to another level this season after winning Defensive Rookie of the Year last year.

When it comes to getting after the quarterback, no one is better than the former first-round pick. Parsons has 41 pressures on the season, which is tied for first in the NFL. His speed and strength make him a terror for opposing offensive tackles. He is a sure thing for the Pro Bowl, but the Defensive Player of the Year award is also well within reach.
Trevon Diggs, Cornerback
Last season, all the negative talk around cornerback Trevon Diggs was about how many yards he gave up. But, this year, you can only hear whispers about Diggs. That is because he is playing at an elite level once again in 2022. The 25-year-old is not intercepting passes at the rate he did last year (only three this season) but his coverage has been phenomenal.

He's allowed just 108 yards in his last five games.
His recent performance against one of the best wide receivers in the NFL was incredible. Diggs held Vikings WR Justin Jefferson to two catches for 19 yards. Opposing teams are no longer throwing at Diggs. But, when they do, he usually makes them pay. Look for Diggs to continue his spectacular play and reel in some more interceptions as the season continues.
Honorable Mention: Donovan Wilson, Dorance Armstrong, Jayron Kearse

Dallas Cowboys Special Teams Pro Bowlers
Brett Maher, Kicker
Despite a kicker controversy in training camp, the Cowboys made the right choice with Brett Maher. The most impressive part about Maher is the strength of his leg. He had his best game of the season in Week 11, going 4-for-4 on field goals, including two 50-yarders and one 60-yarder.
Cowboys kicker Brett Maher is now 4-for-4 from 60-plus yards in his career, the most 60-yarders in NFL history. No other kicker has more than two 60-yard field goals
— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) November 20, 2022
Maher is tied for fifth in the NFL in field goals made this season with 29. He also has the second-most made kicks from 50-59 yards with six. The 32-year-old has impressed in his second stint with America’s (Special) Team, and he will be relied on plenty for the rest of the season.
KaVontae Turpin, Return Specialist
The Cowboys took a chance on USFL MVP KaVontae Turpin in free agency. Not knowing what to expect from Turpin, they gave him the job of kick/punt returner in the preseason. He made his name known after returning both a kick and punt for touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers.
This season, Turpin has been very effective as a punt returner. He has returned 19 punts for 236 yards. Also, his four 20+ yard returns rank third in the NFL. Even though he has yet to return one for a touchdown during the regular season, it feels like he is close to breaking one.
Overall, the Cowboys should be expecting to have around eight Pro Bowlers this season, with the possibility of that number increasing if some other players can continue to play well.

The 5 most underappreciated players in Cowboys history
There have been a lot of famous Cowboys players in NFL history. But there are also some who didn't get the appreciation they deserved. Here are 5 of them.
