Just like the Chicago Bears in Week 8, the Green Bay Packers defense has been keeping this team in games much of the year, with a tough defensive line and aggressive corners and safeties will be a challenge for this Cowboys offense.
The Packers lost their sack-leading pass rushers against the Lions after Rashan Gary tore his ACL. Nowm down a major contributor in their pass rush, the Packers are going to be relying heavily on the rest of the group to pick up the slack.
That’s where Preston Smith (who is seen as more of a run defender) and monster defensive tackle Kenny Clark come into play. We’ve seen at times how the Cowboys’ offensive line can be exploited in the middle and Clark is the player that Dallas needs to worry most about with his quickness off the snap and strength. He has the potential to be their game-wrecker this week.
Dallas will look to establish their running game early, but if Clark has his way, he’s going to force offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and quarterback Dak Prescott to beat them through the air against that aggressive secondary.
The Lions were able to beat up and wear down the Packers’ defense with their physical running game and hopefully, the Cowboys are able to do the same. If they can they will wear down the biggest challenge in this week’s game.
