5. Dak Prescott is back, and this offense is getting ready to roll

Cooper Rush did a phenomenal job holding down the fort for Prescott until he was ready to come back. Going 4-1 in today’s NFL as a backup quarterback is quite the feat. However, No. 4 is back, and he was dealing.

The statline wasn’t the sexiest, but as I had predicted prior to the game, Prescott stayed calm, cool, and collected and had an efficient outing. The 2016 fourth-round pick finished 19/25 with 207 passing yards and a touchdown that sealed the win.

The run game certainly helped open things up on the offense for Prescott to go to work, and they really started hitting their stride after halftime. The offense scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to secure the win.

The offense looked really good in the second half. Nobody was necessarily expecting the team to be firing on all cylinders right out the gate, but after a half, they looked better than they have all season. The offense played a solid game, and they look ready to keep the momentum going over into next week.
