Dallas has been able to get after the quarterback every week due to the depth they have on the defensive line. They’re so talented that not all of their guys can even make it onto the field.

DeMarcus Lawrence continues to be the leader of the group but Dorance Armstrong is in the middle of the best season of his career. Behind them, Dante Fowler, Jr. has been playing well and they have made no secret that they want to see more of Chauncey Golston.

This is without even looking at rookie Sam Williams, who has shown a quick first step when he does get a shot.

As if they weren’t already loaded, Dallas still has veteran Tarell Basham on the roster. Basham is currently on the injured reserve with a thigh injury but he’s not expected to miss the entire season. Should he recover enough to start practicing again, the Cowboys might be willing to listen to offers.

Basham is in the second year of his two-year contract with Dallas, and while he’s been a decent player, he’s going to have a very hard time seeing the field with the players listed ahead of him. Not only would the Cowboys be able to get something for him now rather than letting him walk for nothing, but he could also use a change of scenery where he’s needed more.
