1. Lions’ offense is held to under 300 yards

The Cowboys’ defense is going to have their hands full if they are unable to slow down the Lions’ running game. The Lions are averaging 5.4 yards per carry, that’s second-best in the NFL and the Cowboys can’t allow that to happen if they want to be able to keep the Lions in third and long situations. The Cowboys have had great success attacking offenses when they are behind the sticks and need a big gain.

Also as I’ve stated before the Cowboys’ defense is coming into this game to make a statement and that’s not good for any offense that is in front of them. I have a feeling that this defense is going to smother this offense, keeping them in third and long situations for most of the football game and creating short fields for Prescott and this offense to put points on the board.

Game Prediction: Cowboys hold the Lions to 80 yards rushing and 200 through the air
