A Dallas Cowboys’ realistic 2022 NFL Draft big board
Players on the Cowboys big board for the first round of the NFL Draft
Team Interest: 10
Team Need: 8
Draft Projection: 9.5
Total: 27.5
This one should be at the top of everyone’s version of a realistic Cowboys’ big board. There is no prospect in this draft connected to Dallas more than Kenyon Green.
There is clear interest from Jerry Jones in addressing the offensive line early in this draft and the best guard prospect out there is Green. Green is one of the top 30 visits for the team as well, plus, he’s an in-state talent. Can you think of a better match made in heaven?
The Texas A&M product would be a plug-and-play starter for the ‘Boys at left guard. His draft projection is pretty foggy at the moment, seeing as he can go as high as the middle of the first round to as low as the middle of the second round.
Team Interest: 10

Zion Johnson, known as “the other guard” next to Green, would most likely be the next pick in the event Green is not on the board. As previously stated, the team is looking for offensive line help early and Johnson is also one of the 30 draft prospect visits for Dallas.
Johnson is another guy who could be plugged into the starting lineup right away. He may need to prove himself a little bit in training camp to make sure he is what teams think he is, but that should not be an issue. There also seems to be interest in Johnson possibly taking some snaps at center as well.
The Boston College Eagle is expected to find a home within the late first round and mid-second round of the draft. Do not be surprised if this is the pick at 24 if Green is off the board.
