With the 200th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select …

Cade York, Kicker – LSU

Height: 6’1″    Weight: 198lbs

Career Stats: 164 of 168 on extra points attempts (98%),  54 of 66 on field-goal attempts (81%)

I’m just going to say it. I don’t trust Greg Zuerlein or Chris Nagger. Neither of them makes me feel at ease. The Cowboys haven’t had a good track record when it comes to drafting kickers, but this draft is different. There are a few good kickers in this draft and if there was ever a time to take one, now’s that time.

York is a kicker that has had to make big kicks in big games and didn’t let the pressure get to him. I’d rather take my chances with a rookie kicker over two kickers that we know have issues making gimme field goals and extra points.

Previous Pick: Christopher Allen, Edge – Alabama

Player Comparison: Dan Bailey
