1. Von Miller, OLB, Los Angeles Rams

Before you freak out about his price tag, keep in mind that Miller’s age is going to heavily factor into his next contract. If the Cowboys choose to get rid of Randy Gregory in free agency, Miller would be an excellent signing. His ten years of experience in the league make him a veteran that knows how to win. This is the type of guy you want around young defenders like Micah Parsons, Osa Odighizuwa, and Neville Gallimore.

Miller is an eight-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro, two-time Super Bowl champ, and Super Bowl MVP. A championship-level player is what this Dallas defense needs. Plus, the fact that he isn’t at his peak anymore will make him more affordable to obtain.

Miller will likely go for a one or two-year contract at around $14 million a year. That’s just about the same price as Randy Gregory, but Gregory’s age will likely mean a more long-term contract.

With the potential of both DeMarcus Lawrence and Gregory heading out of Dallas, the likelihood of Jones doing one of his blockbuster signings to get a guy like Miller isn’t out of the question. Maybe adding a championship player could finally help his team get closer to a championship.
