Carolina Panthers vs Dallas Cowboys Weather Outlook

Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

Stadium Type: Retractable dome

Predicted Forecast: High of 84, low of 62, partly sunny with a chance of thunderstorms, winds of 7-8mph with gusts up to 10-11mph

Close the doors, close the roof, set the AC to 75 degrees, and let’s play ball. I don’t see the Cowboys taking any chances here when they host the Panthers by keeping the roof open. This climate is going to be about as ideal as a player and fan could want when the 12 pm CST kickoff rolls around Sunday in AT&T Stadium.

As we saw last weekend, weather playing a factor or not, turnovers and fumbles happen. I see another scenario where the Cowboys take advantage of a fast field utilizing the speed of receiver CeeDee Lamb and running back Tony Pollard. Personally, I prefer a dry, clean field for quarterback Dak Prescott and will gladly take it every chance we get.

The Panthers will likely look to use the speed of receiver DJ Moore to crack the code on an opportunistic Cowboys secondary and a climate-controlled stadium is their ideal chance for Sam Darnold to hit him deep.

Playing in a dome practically eliminates all-weather circumstances the Cowboys and Panthers could run into which really makes this a game of coaching, talent, and matchups. These teams will have the opportunity to run what they want whenever they want, and I think each offense will take that week in week out.
