Dallas Cowboys: Top 3 bold predictions for showdown with Panthers
Dallas Cowboys: 1. CeeDee Lamb sets career highs with 12 receptions and 130 yards
Lamb currently leads the Cowboys in both targets (27) and receiving yards (251). The Panthers are without their top corner Jaycee Horn, and that should help open things up in the passing game. Although the Panthers did just trade for C.J. Henderson it remains to be seen how much playing time he will actually get.
Just last week the Panthers’ secondary allowed 9 receptions for 112 yards to Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks. CeeDee should be able to feast over the middle of the field operating from the slot and on the outside.
One major reason I think these numbers are achievable for Lamb is that he ranks third in the NFL in yards after catch (YAC). According to PlayerProfiler, Lamb currently has 127 yards after the catch on the season which just goes to show how electric he is with the ball in his hands.
After seeing only three targets last week I fully expect Lamb to be more involved this Sunday and he has the potential to make a game-changing play at any point. I can not wait to see how the Cowboys’ offense tries to replicate their 40 point performance from last week.
