It was cool to see fourth-year player Dorance Armstrong have the best game of his career against Arizona. Through his first three seasons, Armstrong has a combined 2.5 sacks.

In this game, Armstrong had five tackles (four solo), two sacks, two tackles for loss, and one pass deflection. Simply put he was the biggest difference-maker on defense for the Cowboys.

Despite sub-par production his first three years this was the type of performance the Cowboys needed to see from Armstrong to feel comfortable with him moving forward. The defensive line is obviously one of the thinnest parts of the Cowboys roster so anyone that steps up and makes plays is more than welcome.

Behind DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory, Dallas continues to search for edge depth. Armstrong showed in this game why he is more than capable of being a solid backup for Dallas and with continued development could become a starter one day.
