#4. CeeDee Lamb one-handed snag out of bounds

This highlight from Lamb would be number one on this list if he was able to get both feet inbounds. Instead, it lands fourth on the rankings due to it being an eye-catching attempt.

The Cowboys surprisingly made Lamb the 17th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft despite already possessing a quality receiver corps and having other more pressing team needs. But making plays like these only reinforce the idea that you should always draft for talent over need in the first round.

#3. Damontae Kazee snags the pick-six

Much has been made of Damontae Kazee’s playmaking ability upon signing with the Cowboys this offseason. After all, the diminutive safety led the NFL in interceptions in 2018 with seven picks. And fans are hoping he can do the same in Dallas.

But coming off an Achilles injury that limited him to only four games in 2020, there was some uncertainty about what kind of early impact the former Atlanta Falcons’ starter would make this early into camp.

Well, the above pick-six should help put some of those fears to rest as both Kazee and the newly-signed Malik Hooker represent a new and exciting future for the safety position in Big D.
