3. The Rookie Class

Every year on Hard Knocks each fanbase looks forward to seeing their newest rookie class. That will be no different for the Cowboys.

The 2021 draft class, highlighted by linebacker Micah Parsons, should get plenty of air time on the show. For fans, seeing how these rookies fit into the new defensive scheme under new coordinator Dan Quinn will be interesting to watch.

Will second-round cornerback Kelvin Joseph win a starting job? How many of the 11 drafted rookies will the Cowboys actually keep on their final 53-man roster? These are all interesting questions I can’t wait to see answered.

4. The Jerry Jones Influence

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones must be thrilled with having his team once again on Hard Knocks. Giving the ‘Boys this much publicity will only help the brand.

But the question is, how much will Jones be featured on this upcoming season? If I had to guess I would say a lot.

I can envision a camera crew taking a ride with Jones on his helicopter while he’s boasting about the state of the team. Hard Knocks usually focuses on the team and its players. But you can expect Jones, one of the most popular and involved owners in the NFL, to get plenty of camera time this summer.
