QB. Dak Prescott. . player. 123. . .

Now, the quarterback that became the starter earlier than expected, Dak Prescott. While the other two quarterbacks struggled as rookies, Dak was the offensive rookie of the year. It was one of the best rookie seasons by a quarterback.

The two-time Pro Bowler went from being an efficient game manager to a gunslinger. He owns a record of 42-27 and led the Cowboys to two playoff appearances. The quarterback never missed one game until he suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 this past season.

The Mississipi State product threw for 17,634 yards, 106 touchdowns, and 40 interceptions. His production would likely be higher if not for the ankle injury. That season, he was on pace to break Peyton Manning’s NFL record for passing yards.

The recent success of Dak has placed him among the top quarterbacks in the NFL. He placed second for passing yards in 2019 and has had a passer rating of 96 or more the past three seasons.
