Should the Cowboys consider trading away these four players?

After somewhat of a resurgent second season under Mike Nolan, it’s unclear how mercurial defensive tackle Trysten Hill will respond to his third defensive coordinator in three years. That after a rookie season spent in the doghouse of former DC, Rod Marinelli, who was originally Hill’s biggest cheerleader.

The Cowboys’ top selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, Hill was at times the team’s most disruptive interior defender in 2020 prior to suffering a season-ending ACL injury. Unfortunately, he’d play only five games, recording 11 total tackles and three QB hits. Hill hasn’t yet registered his first sack in the NFL over his first two seasons.

With Dan Quinn hired as the team’s new defensive coordinator this offseason, he’s expected to pay special attention to the defensive line. After all, the former head coach for the Atlanta Falcons spent the bulk of his 20-year NFL career as a defensive line coach.

If Quinn decides he wants to move on from Hill, perhaps the former second-rounder has some trade value that Dallas can take advantage of as he’s only 22-years old and clearly talented.
