2. Amari Cooper, Wide Receiver
Fans of America’s Team have become used to their team occasionally overpaying its star players. However, that was certainly not the case when the organization decided to re-sign wide receiver Amari Cooper to a five-year, $100 million deal.
The four-time Pro Bowl wideout and former Oakland Raider joined the Cowboys back in 2018. In his debut with Dallas, he led the team in receptions with five and managed to haul in a touchdown. Since then the 26-year old has been consistently terrific.
Last year, while battling through injuries, he led the team in receiving yards with 1189 and receiving touchdowns with eight. This year, Cooper has continued to excel even without Prescott in the lineup.
Cooper currently leads the team in receiving yards with 655. He also led the team in both receptions and receiving yards in the organizations’ win yesterday against the Vikings.
Amari Cooper has been the Dallas Cowboys’ best receiver since he joined the team back in 2018. He completely turned the offense around and won his way into the hearts of fans of America’s Team with his consistency and skills.
