#2. The draft! The draft! The draft!

You know how, before I started this list, I said the Cowboys have gotten more lucky than usual? The draft is what I was thinking about the most.

In fact, this list could easily have been ten items long instead of four. That’s because I could have listed each draftee separately. In fact, let me go ahead and do so.

1:17 – CeeDee Lamb, WR – Oklahoma
2:51 – Trevon Diggs, CB – Alabama
3:82 – Neville Gallimore, DT – Oklahoma
4: 123 – Reggie Robinson II, CB – Tulsa
4: 146 – Tyler Biadasz, C – Wisconsin
5:179 – Bradlee Anae, DE – Utah
7:231 – Ben DiNucci, QB – James Madison

The Cowboys were able to get a steal in each and every round of the draft. I don’t have to tell most of you because there have been so many articles raving about the quality of Dallas’s haul.

From CeeDee Lamb in the first round to Tyler Biadasz and Bradlee Anae in the fourth and fifth, Dallas found players who fell far beyond their predicted draft placement. I get excited all over again just thinking about it. But I’m even more psyched to see them play!
