#2 – Another big game from Dak Prescott

Quarterback Dak Prescott enjoyed a great start to the season. He remains amongst the best in the major stats that value how good a quarterback is in the NFL. He looks like a much better quarterback this season from last season.

The field vision Dak has shown so far is very encouraging. He is doing a better job more than ever of finding open receivers deep. His yards gained per pass attempt and yards gained per pass completion are the highest it’s ever been.

This in addition to how the Saints have been playing so far against the pass should make Cowboys fans very excited for game day. On paper, the defense looks average, maybe below average. By stats, they are playing quite bad.

To put things in perspective, the Saints defense is giving up more passing yards than the Miami Dolphins, which was looked at as the worst defense in the league. The Saints averaged 301.7 passing yards against per game.

So far, Prescott only has one game where he eclipsed 300+ yards when he threw for 405 in Week 1 against the New York Giants. The other two games he threw for 269 and 246 yards respectively.

This Sunday he can very well throw for over 300 yards, even with wide receiver Michael Gallup still out. Top wide receiver Amari Cooper who is dealing with a lingering left foot injury, now has a right ankle injury, but even if he ends up playing hurt he should see good looks.
