Here are three players who should find themselves in prime position to post breakout performances for the Dallas Cowboys in 2019.

The Dallas Cowboys have a very young roster in several key positions. And there are a handful of youngsters in prime position to have a breakout performance this upcoming season. Here are three potential sleepers we believe could develop quickly and make the most of their opportunities in 2019.

Michael Gallup, WR

With Amari Cooper on the opposite side, Randall Cobb in the slot and tight end Jason Witten roaming the middle, it’s second-year wide receiver Michael Gallup that could get lost in the shuffle for opposing secondaries. And that could result in a break out performance for the 23-year old this upcoming season.

The 2018 third rounder took his game to another level at the end of his rookie year posting a total of eight receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown in two playoff games. Gallup finished his first year posting 33 catches for 507 yards and two scores as an eight-game starter.

With so many options in the passing game for quarterback Dak Prescott, Gallup should see constant one-on-one coverage making him a favorable target for the fourth-year passer.
