What’s been the team’s biggest surprise so far this season to you?

GK: Believe it or not, I expected a rocky ride in 2018. The Eagles are the champs. They wear the target now. I just didn’t foresee tragic losses to teams that this team is truly better than.

I think there’s no reason a team with all of this talent should have lost to the Buccaneers or Titans. There’s no explanation for losing after carrying a 17-point lead well into the fourth quarter against the Carolina Panthers.

I imagined there would be challenges versus the Saints and Rams. I even thought those may be losses, but I fear it’s the losses against the inferior teams that will, eventually, be this team’s undoing.

What would you consider to be the Eagles’ biggest strength? Biggest weakness?

GK: The biggest strength is still the defensive line, at least on defense. I say that even though we haven’t seen the sack totals we’d hope for. I think they’ll improve going forward. On offense, I have to go with Carson Wentz.

This is the best start to a season he’s had. Unfortunately, it’s been overshadowed by a .500 record.

The biggest weakness is the lack of that consistent running game. It’s for that reason that you can’t salt games away. I think we’re still asking Wentz to do too much and he’s taking too much of a beating in the process.
