Lance Lenoir, WR

After his performance throughout training camp and the first two games of the preseason, it’s hard to imagine wide receiver Lance Lenoir not making the final 53. Yet, it’s unclear if Dallas will even keep six receivers on their active roster. And if they do, the race appears to be between Lenoir, Deonte Thompson, and Noah Brown for a possible final spot. Lance may need one more big performance to secure a place on the final 53 or force Dallas to carry an extra receiver.

Duke Thomas, CB

After a stellar offseason last year, cornerback Duke Thomas is in a fight for his NFL career in Dallas. With four corners clearly locks to make the roster already, Thomas is duking it out with fellow cornerbacks Marquez White, Charvarius Ward, Kam Kelly, and Donovan Olumba. A season-ending foot injury robbed Thomas of a roster spot last year. This time around, he has failed to separate himself from the pack and desperately needs to do so in the coming days.

Charles Tapper, DE

Selected before quarterback Dak Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, defensive end Charles Tapper has played in a total of two regular season games in two years due to back-to-back season-ending injuries. Now in year three, Tapper is in real danger of being on the chopping block next weekend. Dallas is stacked full of defensive end talent this season and the 25-year old is currently on the outside looking in.
