OFFENSE CONTINUED …

Left Wide Receiver- Allen Hurns 6’1 198 lbs 26 years old

Another offseason acquisition in the starting lineup, Allen Hurns will have big shoes to fill in Dallas. Hurns will serve as Dez Bryant‘s replacement, and take his role as the starting left wide receiver over.

Right Wide Receiver- Terrance Williams 6’2 208 lbs 28 years old

Terrance Williams will be back in a starting role in 2018, and I believe is poised for a breakout year. Williams will get much more targets in the passing game, and has always been a valuable asset in the run blocking game.

Tight End One- Geoff Swaim 6’4 245 lbs 24 years old

Here is the first really tricky position for the Cowboys. The starting tight end job is extremely up for grabs, and I believe Geoff Swaim will be the one to claim the position in training camp. Swaim has the most experience out of all the tight ends, and did contribute a little bit when he had chances in his two years in Dallas.

Tight End Two- Dalton Schultz 6’5 244 lbs 21 years old

It is more than likely the Cowboys starting lineup will open up in 12 personnel, so Schultz will be the second tight end on the field. I think the Dallas coaches will really love Schultz’s ability to block, and he will get many chances to get onto the field in run downs.

Offensive Line-

  •  LT-Tyron Smith 6’5 308 lbs 27 years old
  • LG- Connor Williams 6’5 296 lbs 21 years old
  • C- Travis Frederick 6’4 312 lbs 27 years old
  • RG- Zack Martin 6’4 308 lbs 27 years old
  • RT- La’el Collins 6’4 305 lbs 24 years old

No surprises here, as the offensive line will once again be the biggest strength of this Cowboys team. With the addition of Connor Williams at left guard, I believe their is no question this is the most talented offensive line in football. If Tyron Smith is unable to stay healthy or Connor Williams struggles, look for swing tackle Cameron Fleming to come in and fill the void.
