2018 NFL Draft, First Round Mock – Dallas Cowboys’ surprising pick

27. New Orleans Saints- Mason Rudolph QB Oklahoma State

The sixth quarterback taken in the first round, the Saints find their eventual successor for Drew Brees, who will be 39 next season.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers- Malik Jefferson LB Texas

The Steelers pick up an insurance policy at linebacker, after the horrible injury to Ryan Shazier, in Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson.

29. Jacksonville Jaguars- Dallas Goedert TE South Dakota State

The Jags give quarterback Blake Bortles a weapon in Goedert, who will help stretch the field, using his solid size and outstanding athletic ability.

30. Minnesota Vikings- Orlando Brown OT Oklahoma 

The Vikings get an instant plug in starter in Brown, who will immediately help impact their offensive line.

31. New England Patriots- Donte Jackson CB LSU

With Malcolm Butler being a free agent, concern is a big need for the Patriots, and they address it taking Jackson, one of the fastest players in the entire draft.
