Washington Redskins

1 (17) Jonathan Allen, DI, Alabama
2 (49) Ryan Anderson, LB, Alabama
3 (81) Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA
4 (114) Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma
4 (123) Montae Nicholson, S, Michigan State
5 (154) Jeremy Sprinkle, TE, Arkansas
6 (199) Chase Roullier, C, Wyoming
6 (209) Robert Davis, WR, Georgia State
7 (230) Josh Harvey-Clemons, S, Louisville
7 (235) Joshua Holsey, CB, Auburn

The Redskins came away quite possibly the luckiest out of any team and they needed it. They selected Jonathan Allen who was the second best pass rusher in the draft at number 17 overall, ridiculous.

They also landed Alabama linebacker Ryan Anderson and UCLA cornerback Fabian Moreau. All of those players will be starters on the defensive side of the ball by Week Five. They also added to the offense by selecting Jeremy Sprinkle and Samaje Perine in the fourth and fifth rounds.

Washington found several starters in this draft class while dealing with a front office disaster. This was one terrific draft from a team who apparently does not know what it is doing anymore.

My one critique would be that they did not find a future quarterback to build around. Kirk Cousins will only want to stay around such dysfunction for so long.
