By Robert Diton

Okay, yes, that Jets game left a bitter taste in our mouths. Some of you were able to put that aside and continue with your week. Others, myself included, were left literally sick every time we thought what could’ve been (I personally would’ve loved to wipe that stupid grin off of Rex’s face). Our Cowboys snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Regardless, the season does go on and we had to travel to San Francisco on Sunday. Here are some things we learned from that heart-stopping, edge-of-your-seat come-from-behind overtime victory:

· Tony Romo is a competitor: As soon as the game ended, all the way until this article is posted (perhaps even until Monday), many NFL ‘analysts’ were eating crow and saying what a great presence Tony is behind center (forgive me if I beat a dead horse, but it needs to be said again). He battled media scrutiny, a constant up-hill battle on the scoreboard, and especially a fractured rib to lead our beloved Cowboys to a much-needed victory. I know there were more than a few times that I thought we were heading to 0-2, but Romo showed how he should be in the conversation as an elite quarterback in the league. (more…)
