As evidenced by the title of this article, due to the Cowboys’ early game this week, I will be writing a preview of the upcoming Dolphins game, as opposed to my usual ‘Final Word’ feature. There will probably be plenty of previews of this game (especially today), so I’ll just give you readers a few quick bullet points for our annual Thanksgiving game. (more…)

The Dallas Cowboys made an impressive comeback on Thanksgiving afternoon against the New Orleans Saints only to fumble it away.

I sat down yesterday in front of the television with a mammoth plate of food in hand prepared to watch one of my favorite football games of the year. Thanksgiving Day is like New Years Day in college football for me. This year I sat down knowing that the Cowboys season is all but lost. That fact still did not temper the excitement I had to watch the Cowboys upset the Saints.

The first quarter began and things sure turned South in a hurry for the Boys. I was strategically maneuvering through my plate of food and was keeping hope alive whilst doing so. As we all saw, the Cowboys turned it all around after the first quarter and really started making some things happen. They got some timely turnovers and started moving the ball a little bit. This caused a buzz about the room I was in. It felt good to feel a little excitement for once. This brought me out of the food induced coma that I was slipping into. I sat up in my chair, thought about how I hate the Saints, and started to really get into the game.
