Singing a very unique version of the national anthem will be Alicia Keys. And six-time Grammy-Award winner Beyonce Knowles will perform during the Pepsi Super Bowl Half-time Show.

CBS analyst Jim Nantz will call the game along with former Super Bowl MVP and New York Giant Phil Simms. As sideline reporters will be former NFL players Steve Tasker and Solomon Wilcots.

The game matches up the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers for the NFL championship. The winner will be awarded the Lombardi Trophy. The game is being nicknamed the “Harbaugh Bowl” or “HarBowl” because, for the first time in Super Bowl history, the head coaches on the opposing teams are brothers. John Harbaugh is the head coach for the Ravens. His younger brother, Jim Harbaugh, is the head coach for the 49ers.

Raven’s linebacker Ray Lewis will be playing the final game of his 17 year career in this Super Bowl. The controversial player has become an ambassador for the league after an incident in 2000 resulted in him being indicted on murder and aggravated-assault charges. Lewis eventually pled guilty to an obstruction of justice charge in exchange for testimony against two other defendants. Much will be made of Lewis’ career highlights which include 13 Pro Bowl selections, two NFL Defensive Player of the Year Awards and the Super Bowl MVP award in 2000.

Airing directly after the game on CBS will be a special episode of Elementary.

Tune in earlier to watch R&B singer/songwriter Alicia Keys perform what is being called a very unique version of the national anthem.

The Pepsi Super Bowl Half-time Show will feature six-time Grammy-Award winner Beyonce Knowles. The league is apparently shelling out around $600,000 to put on the half-time performance. Chump change when compared to the $50 million deal Beyonce just inked with it’s promoter, Pepsi.

The game will match up the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers for the NFL championship. They are also the only brothers to both head coach professional football teams in NFL history.

Raven’s linebacker Ray Lewis will be playing the final game of his 17 year career in this Super Bowl. The controversial player has become an ambassador for the league after an incident in 2000 resulted in him being indicted on murder and aggravated-assault charges. Much will be made of Lewis’ career highlights which include 13 Pro Bowl selections, two NFL Defensive Player of the Year Awards and the Super Bowl MVP award in 2000. Watch for his legendary dance moves as the teams are being announced prior to the game.

Singing a very unique version of the national anthem will be Alicia Keys. And six-time Grammy-Award winner Beyonce Knowles will perform during the Pepsi Super Bowl Half-time Show. Weather will be a non-factor for both the game and performances since the Superdome is a domed stadium.

CBS analyst Jim Nantz will call the game along with former Super Bowl MVP Phil Simms. On the sidelines will be former NFL players Steve Tasker and Solomon Wilcots.
