Dallas Cowboys vs Buffalo Bills Review: Quick Reactions Defense

The defense stifled the Bills all day long.

The Dallas Cowboys trounced the Buffalo Bills this week. The entire team – offense, defense, and special teams – played extremely well. The following is a summary of the things that stood out to me on defense.

I thought that the defense played pretty damn good. If you noticed any flaws in their play that escaped my attention, please let us all know in the comments section.

As I mentioned before, I have only watched the game once at regular speed, so if I make any mistakes, please be sure to leave the corrections in the comments section.

Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys Near Perfect in Win Over Buffalo Bills

It was the combination of a near perfect day for quarterback Tony Romo and another outstanding rushing performance from running back DeMarco Murray that lead to the Dallas Cowboys big win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, 44-7. Romo started the game perfect going an amazing 13 for 13 passes. And the rookie Murray helped sealed the win by adding more grit and consistency from the offensive backfield.

The game started in Dallas’ favor quickly as Romo came out on fire. It took the Cowboys’ offense just 2:48 to drive 80 yards in five plays, ending with a spectacular leaping 34 yard touchdown catch by wideout Dez Bryant. Dallas jumped out to the early lead, 7-0, and never looked back. (more…)

One of the great things about working at The Landry Hat, and the Fansided Sports Network, is our access to different experts. Since our network has a site for every NFL team, I’d thought I’d get an insider’s take on the upcoming Dallas Cowboys vs. Buffalo Bills game from “behind enemy lines”. Therefore, I present these six in-depth questions with the Editor of our Buffalo Bill’s blog, Buffalowdown, Brad Andrews. ( A big thank you to Brad for taking the time to answer these questions just for our fans!)

1. After starting the season red hot at 4-1, the Bills have dropped two of their last three games. Why have they cooled down?

BA: There’s a few reasons. The Jets and Giants are both pretty good, for one. Two, the Bills have really been hurt by injuries with starters DT Kyle Williams, LB Shawne Merriman, WR Donald Jones, LT Demetrius Bell all going down to injury along with quite a few subs. The Bills aren’t a deep team at all, and the Bills might simply be running out of bodies. Third, Buffalo simply isn’t all that talented compared to a lot of NFL teams. The Bills survived on good execution and guts in the first half, but opposing teams might be figuring them out now that there’s a lot of film on them. (more…)
