The Dallas Cowboys agreed to extend for 10 years its exclusive contract with Miller Brewing Company. You can read an article about it here. There is no inside information about the deal yet from this Miller-run blog.

Apparently, the Cowboys will get $80 million for the branding deal. That’s almost enough to probably pay its bond debt on the new $1 billion stadium financing. Maybe Jerry Jones paid cash for that stadium, who knows.

Miller Brewing Company says Texas is its most important market, and “no property in the country matches the Cowboys in terms of local and national reach.” How true it is. This is why the Cowboys are America’s Team. If you look at the article, you’ll see a picture of a special Miller Lite case of the Cowboys farewell to Texas Stadium, 1971-2008. I assume these cases are only sold in Texas? If so, can someone send me one?

Only Green Bay, Chicago and Minnesota give Miller exclusive rights.

Now that the Cowboys have the exclusive rights, does this mean they will still have to charge $8 for a bottle of beer at games?

The Landry Hat endorses Miller Lite as the beer of champions for fat people. You can drink more of these than Bud and any other typical grocery store beer, but there are less calories and carbs than the competition. Oh yes, drink up folks. I’ve got seven Miller Lites left in my fridge. They actually taste pretty darn good, a crisp, cold beer that’s easy to chug for that beer rush.

Now, Miller Lite needs to endorse me with a deal. Heck, I will take $8,000 and you can reach 20,000 people a month or more!
