Love Him or Hate Him, Tony Romo Is the Dallas Cowboys Quarterback

Looking at the picture on the right, Tony Romo is fired up and ready to play football. Where was that attitude in most of the games this season, especially the last, oh, six or seven? I may lose a few of you lovers-of-all-things Tony Romo, but hear me out.

On every sports team, there are players fans love and players fans hate. It’s been that way since the dawn of time. Since taking on this role as staff writer, I’ve started listening to people around town; on the train to work, in the grocery store, or on message boards, I’m listening / reading what people have to say. IPCQ: Week 16, Dallas Cowboys VS Philadelphia Eagles. We need super powers

I ntroduction

I had suspected this game to be a statement game, and a momentum builder for the Cowboys. But the only statement that was made is: We like turds. And the only thing that was built was a big ol’ turd tower. We climbed into that turd tower and jumped out, only to splatter noisily on the turf. This game will be played off as a “game that didn’t matter”. In a way, that is entirely accurate. The loss won’t affect our chances of making the playoffs, but I have a hard time calling this game completely irrelevant. We had a chance to injure Michael Vick, and we couldn’t get it done. Every time he dropped back, we had a chance to hit him illegally and turn his brain into miso soup. Every time he took a snap, the Cowboys were presented with an opportunity to shatter his spine. After every quarter back scramble, the opportunity to rip his legs off was on the table. But we did not deliver. The Cowboys squandered their chances of going undefeated against the Eagles next year. But that’s fine, maybe he’ll slip in the shower or something.

There is really nothing to analyze in a game where everything can be played off as “They weren’t trying”, so I am going to highlight our key player’s super powers and give you something to look for in the upcoming game against the Giants. It will be the unofficial start of the playoffs. It will be huge. Read up, and get your Cowboy motor started. This is huge, people. This is huge. (more…)

“Hate” is such a strong word, but so is “Love”. By combining the two words, I have scientifically engineered the most powerful weekly article known to mankind. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Love/Hate. By Seth Jones.

Due to the fact that I work 3,904 hours a week and only make 2 cents an hour, I am not able to write an impressively long “dolphin pecker” type of article. But for people like myself who have crippling A.D.D, this article will be a blast! I will call this one “Love/Hate Express”. So don’t complain, and don’t applaud. Just read it and smile knowingly while you smoke on your corn pipe.
