I just wanted to start off by saying that this letter is in no way to bash or belittle you.  I’ve heard many a hate-fueled diatribe about your general level of purported asshattery, and I want to go on the record as saying I am not one of those fans.  It is very clear that your business acumen is second to none and I truly marvel at your ability to brand the Cowboys as America’s Team, even during the dismal days of the early 2000’s.

Bunk a curse! Bunk it! The Cowboys chances of winning a Super Bowl this year are fairly low. I’m sorry. It must be said. Our secondary is not at the level that it needs to be. We are often fighting injuries. Our running game comes and goes. This isn’t a sinking ship that we are voyaging on. In fact, it’s not even a ship. It’s a flat bottom boat with a Trolley motor on the back. We can get around, sure. We can win some races. But we won’t outrun the motor boat. We won’t out maneuver the dude on the surf board. And we would lose horribly in a game of chicken to a tug boat. (more…)

With their first two picks in the 2010 NFL draft, the Giants continue to add to the deepest part of their team.  Rumors suggest that Osi Umenyiora may be traded, but adding Jason Pierre-Paul and Linval Joseph to a roster that has Mathias Kiwanuka, Justin Tuck, Chris Canty, Rocky Bernard, and Jay Alford — well, it seems as though they are planning on running a 6-2 defense next year.  Safeties be damned.
