]]> This may be jumping the gun after only one win against a Giants team that came out onto the field listless and unprepared for a team that actually cared. But it isn’t inconceivable that the Cowboys could find themselves at the beginning of a win streak.

They next play the Detroit Lions who are no longer a push over, but still have a a year or two before they are ready to contend for a playoff spot. The Lions placed Kevin Smith (RB) onto the injured reserve list as well as Jack Williams (CB). Both starting quarterbacks for each team are out with injury leaving the battle between Shaun Hill v. Jon Kitna; the match up may not draw ratings, but it Calvin Johnson v. Dez Bryant certainly adds electricity to the game. The Cowboys weren’t perfect against the Giants, but with the same intensity, the Cowboys should come away with their first home win of the 2010 season, and leave the Lions with the 26th straight road loss.

Next come the New Orleans Saints to Dallas on Thanksgiving.
