Jason Garrett’s Brother Could End Up As Dolphins Offensive Coordinator

While Jason Garrett was announced as the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, his older brother John, the Cowboys tight ends coach, could be on his way out of Valley Ranch.

John Garrett is on the list of candidates the Miami Dolphins are interested in to fill the vacant offensive coordinator position that opened when former OC Dan Henning retired. The Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland and head coach Tony Sporano have worked with John during their time with the Cowboys.

It wasn’t long ago that a video was taken in the stands at Cowboys Stadium where a lucky fan in one of the first few rows was getting a lap dance. Now a few weeks later and a few hundred rows back, a not-so-lucky fan was caught getting knocked out on a cell phone camera.

A Dolphins fan in the upper deck was running his mouth and then swung at a Raiders fan. As a reward for his brave efforts, he ate a punch, went unconscious, and tumbled a few rows down the stadium. Drew Brees Is A Fan Of Jason Garrett

It was no secret that Drew Brees was close to signing with the Miami Dolphins back in 2006. Ultimately, the team made a huge mistake and passed over him because they were scared off by his shoulder injury. While Brees was talking with Miami, Cowboys interim head coach Jason Garrett was the quarterbacks coach for the ‘Phins.

After all of the talking, Brees came away very impressed with Garrett .

“One of the things I really liked about Miami was Jason Garrett,” Brees said.
