“My rehab is fine,” Bryant said. “I’ve been hearing a lot of stories about how Michael Irvin came off his ACL [in 1989] and how he was so ready to get back out there. I kinda feel the same way, that’s where my mindset is. His story motivates me so much of getting back out there [it] just makes me want to work hard and that’s what I’m doing each and every day.

“Not running full speed, jogging a little bit on a treadmill and just taking this process slow,” said Bryant. “I give it another month.”

“That sets us back,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. “That sets us back. I really feel bad for him, but it really sets us back. The good news is we’ve got some depth there. That’ll give [Kevin] Ogletree and guys like that a little more play time.”

Bryant has been plagued with ankle injuries all season, but when healthy enough to play the rookie wideout made an impact at any chance he was given.

“He certainly made great strides in his rookie year,” interim head coach Jason Garrett said. “We talked about that before with a guy that missed as much training camp as he did to make the impact that he made on our football team has been significant. He’ll learn from these experiences and hopefully he’ll continue to learn this year when he’s out.”
