The story is pretty remarkable, I think. From NFL.com:

“When we played Ray Lewis and Baltimore at the end of the season,” Ware told the the Cowboys website, “He came over and pointed to my helmet. He said, ‘I want to wear this star on my helmet, that’s my dream . . . that’s my dream.’

So how do the Cowboys actually make it happen, especially when the top priority is signing the man who is telling the world that Ray Lewis wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys? There are several people saying there is noway the Cowboys can restructure deals to sign a guy of Lewis’ caliber. And it is unlikely he’ll take a paycut to play in Dallas.

The Cowboys aren’t likely to sign Chris Canty. Greg Ellis may be on his way out. No one knows what the Cowboys plan to do with Terrell Owens. And maybe Tony Romo can restructure his lucrative deal signed last year. If he wins a Super Bowl, pay the kid.
